I like the repetition here and the framing which emphasises this, I do feel though this could be processed with a more dark feel to it.... shooter @ 18-02-07 22:56:35
great work, really impressed gabriele Nastro @ 19-02-07 02:26:34
Great choice of color. The BW adds more feeling to this image.
Great work! athen crete @ 19-02-07 07:00:29
very dramatic although i agree with shooter that it might be good if it was a little darker and the tree on the side is distracting though. the small tree on the right is interesting though, nice grain. karlo @ 19-02-07 12:40:25
Darker could also work though the neutral-ish grey tone does have a certain appeal. Good processing work here! Antonis @ 19-02-07 13:42:05
another great b&w conversion. Though, the composition of the image is less good (in my opinion) compared to the previous images. Maarten @ 19-02-07 14:02:39
I like all the texture in the foreground grass giving away to near white on much of the lake surface. The whole image has a desolate abandoned feeling that works well. Harry @ 19-02-07 14:44:52
wow, I love your b&w. Great image as usual! enrico @ 19-02-07 15:26:05

@all - thanks for your interesting thoughts to this image. I think the composition could be better,
especially the top of the tree in the left foreground that is cut by the trees in the background is disturbing and maybe there is too much to see all in all. I was there for the first time and only had time for a few shots, I'll visit this place again earlier in the morning and try to get a softer light. Pat @ 19-02-07 22:53:11
Well Pat, I like the light and the composition - especially the Sharpness; I guess, that must be great impressive on a bigger print ;-) Matthias @ 22-02-07 19:58:25
Hey Pat! Funny enough, i have taken a twin shot of this one back in 2004 , here it is:
